Review: Conrad Centinnial Singapore

We were in Singapore for a weekend and decided to stay in the Conrad due to Hilton's Q4 Free Nights Promo. This is one of the priciest hotels with stayed in but the price tag was worth it. The Conrad in Singapore is now one of favorite hotels we've stayed in. The Conrad is one of the two Hilton properties in Singapore and we decided to go with the Conrad since reviews on trip advisor and flyertalk gave better reviews on the rooms and executive lounge.

The Conrad is located right next to the Marina Mall and the Suntec Convention Center. We took the MRT to Promenade station from the airport and a 5 minute walk later we were at the hotel. The hotel contacted us through email before arrival to inquire about check-in times so that they can try to be ready for us. We arrived at the hotel about 11 am and was promptly from the lobby to the executive lounge for check-in after realizing we were Hilton Hhonors Gold members. We were offered drinks while we waited for the paperwork and enjoyed the view in the lounge. Such good service!

As Gold members, we were upgraded to a "normal" executive floor room - no suite upgrades for us. The room was clean, modern and to our liking.

The bathroom was huge and included both a separate shower and bath tub that was stocked with quality amenities.

The room was also stocked with high quality teas and coffees like TWG teas instead of the typical Nescafe and Lipton teas.

We were also provided a fruit bowl and a Conrad bear, which has now become Lydia's excuse to visit more Conrads in the future, as a gift.

The pool at the Conrad is somewhat dated but clean and well maintained. The pool is big enough to do laps. The gym also looked well equipped and stocked but we did not use it during this visit.

The executive lounge is one of the best hotel lounges we've visited in the past. They offer breakfast in the morning, tea in the afternoon and evening canapes in the evenings. The offerings in the lounge are also one of the best we've seen - yummy cakes, cheeses, a Nespresso machine and best of all, complimentary drinks including alcohol for the whole day. Pretty much open bar.

As guest on the executive floor, we could have our breakfast at either the main restaurant or the lounge. We started off with the main restaurant where the choices were simply amazing. There was even an ice cream bar for breakfast! We did have a second light breakfast in the lounge while checking up on email/work and enjoying a couple more glasses of champange and Nespressos.

Some pictures from the main restaurant:

In addition to all the great perks and offerings of the Conrad, what makes this hotel stand out is the service of its staff. All the staff we met were simply warm, friendly and helpful. We got caught up in the rain while enjoying the pool and some staff from the nearby gym rushed out with umbrellas and helped us carry our stuff to the shade.

The Conrad is definitely our top choice if we return to Singapore.
